First Day of Homeschooling!

So we just completed our first day of
school today at home! It only took us
two hours but I think that was only
because we are reviewing what she
already learned in kindergarten. She
did a great job and Kaleb even sat
for a bit and learned letters a, c, o, u
and g. I think I will start teaching him
while Taylor is in school on Tuesday's
and Thursday's. We also learned our
verse for this week which is Psalms 118:24
"This is the day the Lord has made and
I will rejoice and be glad in it!" I am
rejoicing in the Lord for the opportunity
to give my children a Godly education!

and the kids table!

A view of our classroom. We set it up in the
sitting room (which was empty). The rug
Taylor picked out has all the states on it :)
We started the day off with seeing where Granny
was flying this morning. All the way from CA to OK!

Circus!!

Last night we got to go to the Circus!
Thanks to Jonathan's work we got some
awesome tickets to the Circus for a great
price. The kids had a great time! We went
an hour and a half early to see the animals
and meet the crew. We were so glad Grandma
Sharon, Uncle Larry, Uncle Bubby, Dillon
and Connor got to join us too!

CALM with the Cousins!

We had such a wonderful time this past
week getting to play with Dillon, Connor,
and Brenna. It sure does make me wish
we lived closer because the kids LOVE
to be around each other. And, I love
being around my nephews and niece.
Monday Grandma Sharon, Christina,
Granny Barbara and I took them to CALM.
We went early in the morning before it got
too hot. We all had a good time and finished the day
off with a picnic and then a Sonice slushie. Thanks
to Uncle Larry who got us the CALM membership
and Sonic cards!

Family Picture

We had to take an updated family picture this
weekend for Taylor's school application. We are
applying for Legacy Christian Academy. It's a
private school where she will be spending 2 days
a week at the school with a certified teacher and
3 days at home with mommy! We are hoping
the Lord will guide us in our decision for her
future and will provide financially so we can
send her there!

4th of July

We had fun this 4th of July with our
friends from down the street. We had
a good time swimming, eating yummy
food, and watching the fireworks. A
special thanks to Uncle Larry for taking
the kids to get fireworks. They really
enjoyed our first year of fireworks!

Bradley and daddy! So glad no one
got hurt.

Summer Fun!

Here are a few pictures from our summer
fun this last month.

Bradley trying on daddy's new Red
Wing boots. Right after we took this
picture he fell over backwards cause
those boots are so stinkin heavy!

Taylor holding her newest cousin, Caia.
I think she held her for about 30 minutes.
Looks like she is going to take after her mama
and grandma! Got to love those babies!
